Atheism is also a religion is why, they get more pissed than Christians if the word God is even mentioned. That conversation is always toxic, there God is Darwin or some other theory of something person, however you spell there names. We should just believe in what's right in front of us, each other, who cares what the person next to you believes in, it's a free country.

No, its not. The definition of Atheism is lack of belief. Treating it as a religion is a hypocritical tag people slap on us. It is the default stance on the world the moment you are born and it requires an outside force to take a stance with a religion, whether it be Christianity, Budism, etc. You aren't born a Christian the moment you are concieved; you are likely influenced to become one from your parents or friends. I know personally a large portion of Atheists, including myself, just don't like being pressured into a religion everywhere we go and being negatively labeled a bad person just because we lack the belief in a current religions God. Why is it that there is a negative stigma for Atheist when we haven't done anything wrong to our own neighbors? I treat every new person I meet with the same by default because I know its good for the community I am in.

But wouldn't you have to first be exposed to a belief to then deny it's existence? When people are born they don't beleive in anything, don't even know religon, or lack thereof, is a thing. If a person was to be raised without exposing them to anything close to resembling a religion, then asking whether or not the beleive in God years later, they would have no thoughts or beleifs, and would take an agnostic stance. Atheism denies God's existence, so you first have know there was a concept of God to be athiest, so your belief is that there is no God.
