I started ranking dead orbit from rank 4 when the taken king came out and played nearly every day since then. So however many months it's been (5 or 6?) I have ranked up only 17 times. I play more than the average person also, so it seems like the average person would never be able to make it to rank 25 in even 1 of the factions, let alone all three. I don't really mind the motes of light or strange coin drops from faction reward packages, because I use those more than the armor that drops, but seriously, buff the amount of reputation gained for each faction. It takes crazy long to get to rank 25 for the exotic class item

That's still a lie. You can use motes, armor materials, weapon parts, heavy synth, and special synth to level up factions. The process is faster than ever.
