Linkin Park is one of my favorite tech death bands and A7X is a pretty good progressive metal band. BVB and Slipknot are pretty cool too, but I'm not much of a fan of deathcore. Five Finger Death Punch is like the only black metal band that is remotely good. All in all though, I'd have to say Emmure, Attila, and Motionless in White are the best progressive tech death bands I've seen live.
