I don't get why people are so distraught over the update. Why are people mad? Is it because:
Iron Banner is rift?
We're getting an event for V-day?
The lag issues are getting due attention?
People just complain for the sake of complaining.

Word Khanspiracy....people have strange expectations nowadays and aren't happy in general. They take everything change in the game as a personal insult, as if Bungie has broken some sacred pact that in reality only exists in their head.

Doubles is already in the game rift is a crap mode lag issues have been happening for a very long time and now they decide to do something about it after 18 months that's what people are complaining

My thoughts exactly, people are [b]complaining[/b] that they're (ok, finally) looking at the lag issues that people have been complaining about, makes a load of sense. If it was really as bad as people made out how insane are you to keep playing if it makes you complain even after they say they're going to look at it, about the fact that they're going to look at it? Lol.

Honest answer, not complaining at all as I don't really play the game anymore. This is just how I see it now: Iron Banner: Regardless of what game mode it is I don't think anyone really thinks of this as new content anymore. It's a monthly recurring event that sometimes changes game modes and doesn't offer anything new or interesting. If you couldn't get high level drops from it I doubt many would spend much time playing it. Event for V-Day: much like festival of the lost, sparrow racing, etc it is a short term timed event. When Bungie said they would be dropping free content throughout 2016 at a small scale I think people expected actual new story and PvE content. I know I expected as much. Slapping a re-skin on the tower and offering cosmetic items as rewards isn't quality content. It's was boring and uninspired the first time around. It's an obvious grab to sell silver as well. The Lag: Lag has always been an issue in this game, even since release. That and disconnects/connection issues. They've said they have done things to improve connections in the past as well and many noticed no difference. I feel confident in saying that most will still experience issues with lag despite them saying they fixed it. Fixing a known issue (if they even have really fixed it) that has been present in a 17 month old game since release is not something that people get excited about. Lag should have been fixed 12 months ago.

I don't really mind the events but the lag is being addressed? Lag has been an issue since the game came out and it is now worse then ever. It should have been getting better instead of worse as that is the cumulative point of updates, to make the game better. I'm going to leave bungie with this: talk is cheap.

Indeed, you can only talk for so long before people stop believing you. Which perfectly summarizes peoples frustrations with the current state of the game and what bungie is doing to fix it.

Crimson Days, could care less about these events. Even though bungholevision will not come out and say it, these events are only here to drive sales for silver. Plain and simple. The lag, well I've been here since the beta and since day one, the lag and other various PvP issues have just gotten worse period!

They changed the game and didn't tell us. Made it worse. I don't care about lack of content for now but I'm not going to play destiny if they think everyone having the same crucible stats is how it's suppose to be

One minute Im fighting this giant asshole Oryx and the next Im skipping around mars on my sparrow for "funzies". Then I have to kill this other terrible threat in a nightfall mission, but not before I give a paper valentine to someone I love with a kissy emote. Wtf
