When I first started playing, the game was unplayable with all the lag there was. Then I started using a LAN cable, and in my 50 hours of game time, I've experienced lag 2 maybe 3 times that's it. And all those times, it wasn't actually my character, I just saw other people lagging out.

  • There is lag always but what everyone here fails to realize that a few milliseconds does not make a difference. It will not affecy your aim or the way you move. They just need someone or thing to blame for how bad they do and everytime they get killed. They act like 54ms is gonna make them lose a gunfight but it just them missing theit shots. I go into theatre mode to see how my aim was and most of the time it is my fault why I died.

  • A few milliseconds is huge in a twitch shooter. You put two players of equal skill against each other, that will affect the outcome of a gunfight. One guy is dropping in four bullets, they other can sponge six/seven before he dies.

  • Lol have you watched any Pro tournaments? Optic had just won the CWL tournament and they did not win because of lag. Watch the gameplays yourself and pay attention to how they play and look at their mini map. They guns don't win gun fights because of lag, they win because they have better aim reaction times. Shooting someone in the lower area of the body will do less damage and these guys don't aim low.

  • They're playing under strict conditions, against players in their own region. It's not uncommon for gamers to submit report tickets due to network manipulation. I've also watched teams dominate online qualifiers, play awful at the big LAN tournaments when everyone is in the same room. Public lobbys will have players from distant regions, which will increase latency. There is a reason the same teams appear at the big events, because they're experienced LAN players.

  • I think the real reason people miss and die is because of the insane flinch. When I get shot, my aim goes everywhere, so it really matters who shoots first. My solution is to just play hardcore. I almost never play core. Imo it's just bad.

  • Yes exactly. A lot of time flinch is the cause of most deaths. If you watch a competitive video you'll see none of them complain because it boils down to your skill and reaction time. If you do watch their videos I suggest look at theit mini map and look how the team works together.
