Bungie stole your microtransaction money and ran the F away.
Remember how they were supposed to add FREE DLC'S (not some patch which allows you to collect fking candies in the hub... we already had this kind of laughable content known as the queen thingy and that was before microtransactions were even introduced)? Yeah. Where's that shit at? What did you say? They're using microtransaction money for patching IB? Okay. Now how is that they were able to patch IB BEFORE microtransactions were introduced? That's right, it doesn't take shit to patch a muliplayer mode that is essentially in the game since month ~1. What else? "wait for the next event". You're hyped to collect candies in the tower? Did you buy destiny to do shallow ass quests aimed at 10y olds or to play quality content like VoG? They lied about using the microtransaction money for their "live team". This money went into Bobby Kotick's butthole! Thanks -.-

If the big update this spring fails to provide [i]at least[/i] new quests, new strikes, vendor updates, new exotics, and a raid, I will officially say fk this game and be done with it. If they fail to deliver this spring they will have a rude awakening when they see the preorder numbers for Destiny 2. Who the hell would want to put up with another year of this bullshit? They need to bring the traditional DLC format back for Y3, as well as the micro transactions to fund the live team providing us with events. If the sequel promises to have a TDB/HoW type expansion every ~4 months, as well as seasonal events then it will be a success. Anything less will lead to the death of this franchise [i]wayyy[/i] before its intended 10 year lifespan.

IT WILL BE ON THE RIFT!!!!!!!!! That's right, Rift! Incredible isn't it? When you're done collecting those 500 candies that are time gated (50 is the maximum amount of candies you'll be able to collect per day), you will receive a legendary 280LL auto rifle. For the last *many* months, if you're still playing, you're probably doing lots of crucible because there's nothing else in the game. With the next event you'll be doing EXACTLY what you've been doing for the past 2+ months. Entertaining, isn't it?

In all seriousness Bungie never once said micro transactions were going to any thing in particular. That was a 100% community driven idea and if anyone expected anything from it it's there own fault. Does COD create content for free because millions are spent on stupid gun skins? No of course not you get your money's worth from the item you purchase. And if you value that item at the price they offer its up to you to buy.
