I think we are fine.
The way our army works ensures that it is one of the best, size doesn't matter.
Merging with Europe would be a nice move. The EU becoming move of a solid leading system.
I'd love to see how the rest of the world view us though.

Blah. I hate the consept of closing down boarders. The peice of dirt you happen to be born on shouldn't matter. While that person is somewhat educated, it is mostly opinion. Taking a few and claiming that it's the most. The end goal is to all be under one system, so the more countries unite the better. Keep in mind that Germany is currently #1 in the world for economy so it is obvious that people would naturally try to discredit their actions. It is a very hard situation to decide what to do.

Your military is not the best, training is arbitrary logistics is not and logistically you're far from the best but were the European Union all to become one big country you'd once again be a serious player on the world stage with the military to make any power think twice.

I mean we're not Israel for training... but I'm sure we rank 2nd or 3rd for training. Actually... Google says the British SAS is the best trained unint in the world.
