[b]I can't use my favorite weapons[/b] in Y2 content. My[b] Y1 armor doesn't perform[/b] well in ANY content due to the arbitrarily decreased stats. Bungie lied right to my face. Reforging is useless outside of crucible, and only available on Y2 exotic armor or specific weapons obtained during HoW or previous IB's. [b]3/4 of the game's gear is unavailable[/b], even -blam!-ing exotics are time-gated. What is this shit? Snipers are still [b]cross map insta-kill guns that you spawn with[/b]. That's a problem. [b]Y2 raid gear is mostly garbage.[/b] Aside from the restored rep boost, [b]Heroic strikes are MORE rewarding than Nightfalls[/b]. Heroic strike for legendary engram, or Nightfall for ghost shell. WTF. [b]No matchmaking outside of crucible and strikes.[/b] /facepalm And no, I have no problem with shotguns. They got nerfed so hard they're not as OP any more. They can't replace your primary weapon and are a truly niche weapon now. That's not true for snipers though. The only thing keeping snipers BARELY in line is the absurd flinch making them weaker against flanks... but too often have I seen AR users sniped at close/mid range regardless of the flinch. If an AR user attacks head-on then there's less flinch. I myself once panic sniped an AR user (I don't snipe much but couldn't flee) and said, "alright that was unfair, he totally should've killed me. Snipers OP!" Strikers and shotguns only do well in modes like rumble because the need for kills generates chaos, and the 1vs1 encounters make shoulder charge and juggernaut harder to stop. It also makes single FoH kills less inefficient. Whoops went off topic and got all meta again.

Why all the moaning.destiny is a game.there are more things to do in the world and also if that's not good enough other games are available, it's not as if bungie are holding an exotic primary to your head!

Wrong bungie ruined Destiny they are the ones that have not provided content or support during year 2....so obvious this year is all about a money grab and milking the community with micro transactions

New to mmo (like) games I see. Bungie was up front in what they wanted this game to be in terms of progression through the 10 year model. Go look into any mmo. Ask anyone playing WoW now what they are doing pre Legion release. All their gear will be replaced by greens soon into expansion.

Bungie, not year 2. They somehow lessened the amount of content we have. Year one had double th content than what we have now.

3oC ruined Destiny in year 2. Lack of story in year 1 sucked, but at least Nightfalls were purposeful.

Agreed. I don't have ttk so I'm pushed in a corner in "legacy content". The game, loot, and pvp somewhat sucks without ttk. I feel like a second class guardian.

My only issue with y2 compared to y3 is really the dlc's. You get better drops, when you just get random engrams, than some weapons you get from HoW or VoG. It's not even fun. Like "look at me, I stomped through a 180 light mission". There comes a point where things should be revamped, or improved to keep pace. At the very least, have more things that are difficult. Two manning a nightfall should be suicide, but it isnt. The only real challenge, comes from raiding, and frankly, I don't always feel like sitting down, waiting an hour while I LFG, and trying kings fall, just to have everyone get tired, and leave, and not beat it at sisters.
