The thorn is no where near what it use to be so i dnt understand why ppl complain dosnt 2 shot anymore and the burn isnt as strong and dosnt last as long and to the people who say its a crutch then more then likely they call every gun they die by a crutch

Still no where near what it was, ye still very good gun tho and tbh i love using it cause i know it annoys people and gets in there head lol

A lot of the people I see using it don't do very well by the end of a match either. It's all about the wielder now.

The burn does one less damage per tick and still kills guardians in 3 body shots. Coupled with the fact that it fires faster than most hand cannons because of its archetype it's outshoots pretty much everything with a low skill level requirement

I have to try this 3 body shot business because I have not seen that work. Even 2 body shots and 1 precision doesn't seem to work consistently for me.

If you hit 1 precision and 2 body shots with that archetype, for example word of crota, you'll kill any guardian except a max armor Titan I believe. Add the burning tick and you are closer to a timurs lash damage per shot with a much faster fire rate. In my opinion I always thought that was the most unskilled part of the thorn because at least to be a 2 shot kill you needed 2 precisions not just a 3 shot spam

I'll have to test this later. I normally always go for headshots so maybe that's why it seems so foreign to me. I do feel that the DoT should only proc on precision hits regardless.

Probably the best balance for the thorn at this point
