Or even better... Finding a sneasel in Leafgreen and not having any ultra balls. I never saw any sneasel again.

That's why you save before the battle in case you either faint or forget something GG m8

Or not buying enough so you use them all trying to catch it and he's still being a dick and not staying in your balls.

Funny story; when I was a kid playing Pokemon Ruby, I forgot to buy Ultra Balls to catch Rayquaza. I had less than 10 Ultras, and almost 30 normal Pokeballs. I got so frustrated I would immediately throw all the balls at Rayquaza, without weakening it, then reload save. I eventually caught level 70 Rayquaza at full health with a regular pokeball, none of my friends believed me until I actually showed them.

I did the same thing to kyogre took me a week to catch I finally got frustrated after it defeated me again and threw a random timer ball at it right as I began the battle and caught it[spoiler]also I was joking to a friend that I could catch rayquaza first move with that special pokeball you get for buying ten pokeballs and I actually caught that one to but that's the remastered on and he's easier to catch now because of who your forced to battle immediately afterwards[/spoiler]
