there main team is working on destiny 2 and has been probably since vanilla launched in 2014. There live team is going to give us free updates/events until then, destiny 1 is pretty much stagnant. Rather them make destiny 2 even better/more content filled honestly then keep adding stuff with the 360 n ps3 still involved
