Except you do. Sorry, but regardless of the patch notes, everyone seems to have noticed this as a problem. If you need help testing this, then I'll show you.
Also: AFKing the entire strike then shooting the boss a couple times is just as bad as doing nothing at all. Read your own post. Loophole right there.
