I'm a top 1% player and can tell you that melee hit detection is hilariously broken.
It would even consume melee charges, put the ability on CD, but no damage would be dealt.
I will top the leader board and shake my head in disbelief on why a huge part of my melee hits simply do nothing.
I even have some recordings of that.
However I don't truly get your point?
Is that the longest bait I have ever read, or... Is there actually a point?

Same here. I have multiple videos online where my shotgun shots from 1 foot away don't do damage. No revive, Super or anything that was absorbing those shots. It's just the game and its peer-2-peer stupidity of a connection system.
