I heard a lot of the Original Bungie employees stays with Microsoft n made 343. Ive heard it from both sides. Some even say Bungie split cause Microsoft was restricting their creative freedom. But then the go and become slaves to Activision. Not a smart move that was.

What I read was the Bungie execs tossed everything late cause it wasnt what they wanted. So that's why the game is how it is. But then again it was a kotaku article so don't how accurate it is.

Yea I heard that too, I also heard that Microsoft only wanted bungie to make halo game and nothing else, which means they only got to make games for Xbox which they didn't want to do anymore
