That was bs. The only rason this works is they couldnt do assasination moves like Halo Reach, way back in Halo 1. Its only for gameplay purposes. Plus, Matpat forgot Spartan punches are OP.

Yeah. That's the only reason it does damage at all :P It's just gameplay reasoning, to make the game play well, not to make sense. Same reason why every modern warfare soldier is Wolverine...
