You can use the bandanna skull. I think you can also use it and the scarab skull in halo 2 for completion as well. Not 100% sure though.

No. Certain skulls that boost player advantage such as bandana and scarab disable any achievements, including legendary completion

You get the achievements for completing the level even with them on.

Believe me I tried. Would have made legendary a lot easier.

Ah well ok then. I did one level like that, but that was back when MCC was bugged to hell so that Might've had something to do with it.
