No. Counter balance makes the gun... If you try using it without it, it is underpowered...

What's the difference between CB and Rodeo? My friend has one with rodeo and he wrecks shit with it

Rodeo doesn't do much to stability. Counterbalance makes the recoil completely vertical without any horizontal recoil
