Who camps until the flag spawns? And even if they do, it's a completely legitimate strategy. It's on you and your team to do something about it; it's dumb to have some auto kill thing cause you have problems getting in.
If you suck at sniping, practice. If it's not your thing, then find another way to adapt.

It's not to kill campers. It's a challenge with true elimination. And I have no idea why people assume I'm a sniper. I am a sniper but these days it's all people call me. No shotgunner or anything.

It's usually because people who have problems with campers are those who get sniped, try to revenge snipe, and fail. Sniping is a good way to combat campers. Also, the flag is in and of itself an anti camp failsafe to prevent the round from going on forever. It should spawn in a neutral location, but unfortunately that's not always the case.
