Now we have "hard scoping" ?!?!
Havent been on the game or forums for about a month, come back and all i see is hard scope posts.
What. The. -blam!-.
Why is this a term? Apparently all it means is using a sniper rifle normally, and is considered cheap? This community grows more trash everytime i check. I blame millennials and youtube kids for the downfall of this and most all fps now. "hard scoping" ... -blam!- all of you

1 ReplyPersonally I use it as a call out on any shooter. "Bruh there's a hard scope down that way!!" Then my friend won't rub don't that way, he goes around back for free easy kill. It's not an insult, just tactics. I don't find it scrubby at all. It's how snipers are supposed to be used. Being zoomed in for kills has a great advantage. Easy head shots. It also allows you to be easily sniped if someone knows you location or easily flanked. I think just a few teenage ragers gave it a bad name

I've always thought, in any FPS really, that snipers should not have any aim assist or auto aim stickiness. Both seem to fly in the face of what a sniper should be: precision from distance that rewards a steady hand. Instead you get endless MLG no scope/quick scope dbags who think that they're so amazing they need to replace letters with numbers to show how cool they are to everyone in the world, and I bet most actually think that that is both clever and awesome

1 ReplyI always thought hard scoping was like a call out. Like "hey don't go down that way they are hard scoping it." That let's me know sniper or not they have a reticle on that lane and I need to find another way.

3 RepliesI personally love hard scopers that don't un scope makes It much easier for me to beat them as they have no radar, it's the quick scopers that have the true skill when you come up against one of those guys you'll be pissed.

It is the term used for sniper noobs that almost never come out if their scope to check their radar or surroundings. The fact that some ppl on these forums think otherwise demonstrates how little PvP experience they have outside of Destiny/Halo. It. Is. An. Insult.

Why are ppl mad about hard scoping it's just a way of sniping, without out it we can't focus on our chakra... I mean focus on the target at hand and everyone would go sniping each other in melee range that's what shot guns are made for.

I have used the term today , but not in a negative ( I don't think)? Yes Snipers should be scoped on a sight line waiting for a target (just easier to type Hard scope than that last line). I hate this quick scope crap that games have allowed. It's so funny to hear people scream about how super realistic a game is and then tell you how great they quick snipe.
