Just like Destiny bans, forum ban durations are not publicized, and are determined by the Bungie.net disciplinary team. Part of the punishment is not knowing how long the ban is for.

The Code of Conduct is ambiguous and the Ninjas aren't held accountable for their actions in this way. For all I know, I could be targeted by a Ninja with a vendetta. Even if I don't see who banned me, it would be nice to know for what reason I was banned so I could avoid violating the COC again and the Ninja who banned me. Edit: also, where did you get your info, your own conjecture? Or did Bungie say so themselves. Please link me to this statement.

The reality is "why" doesn't matter. It's Bungie's site and they run it how they want. If you really find Bungie to be unfair, the best thing would be to boycott Bungie.net in protest. Because they certainly aren't going to change just for you.

Ok, that's great. You can stop acting like a wannabe Mentor now. The why is important. If users don't know why and are just banned, they have no way of knowing how to change their actions for the better. Of course some users won't change, but others will. If they have a copy of Destiny (like me), any user can easily make an alt for this site. They aren't stopping anyone with their current system.
