Then you are no longer eligible , you would be classed as a veteran , you have 7 days from the first date from playing destiny TTK to be eligible to be a referee.

I been playing seen the beta but I don't know if it's gonna work or not yet agin how the hell do you get the quest , do you both have to be new or something ?

On your first time playing the taken king , you have 7 days as being a referee , then you are classed as a veteran , to link with a referee , you need to go to the refer a friend page on bungie.net , make a link (which should give you a url to copy and paste) send that to your referee , once clicked it'll load your page and allow them to link . The quest is picked up from the speaker at the tower once the referee has reached level 25 .

You have to find a new player, the tower is full of new players.

Tower has never been full of new players other than when the game first came out. Every person you see is over 300 light or on a new character because their character got deleted from the stupid glitch that happens from their "maintenance."
