._. Maturity in multiplayer video games has been nonexistent for quite some time now...
The only places ive ever seen mature behavior is on final fantasy 11 and 14.
14 slightly less so.
Well.. And old games. But not anymore. (Quake 3 arena, etc) although unreal gold has a small but nice community. And even has bug fixes and patches made by said community.

Yeah. More or less i think its due to the new generations of kids, also i think e-sports causes this as well. Or rather. Professional gaming. A constant need to not suck at games and prove you have a bigger **** than others. People play games to win now it feels like. Not to have fun. The other thing that ticks me off is things like getting into a battlefield 3 match. People getting mad at eachother on the same team and calling eachother noobs instead of offering some advice or pointers that might actually help their own team to win -_- I see this all the time on killing floor 1 & 2. But i also sometimes give out advice. "Focus the sirens, the fleshpounds are going to tear us apart if they live." And of course people ignore said advice and go "omg f*ckin noob heal better". Its like people think its world of warcraft or something. You can keep someone alive. Your job is only to make it harder for them to be killed. Its one part medic keeping your hp up so you dont have to run around with 2 hp. And another part, the healed person in question getting out of combat so i can actually heal them. Of course these are problems with pub matches The video gaming culture is super depressing and sad these days. Its gone from just having fun to you must be perfect and know everything. Etc.
