Attempting to solve corporate corruption is "crap"?
Saving the planet too?
And ending wars?
And solving the problem of religious divide?
I could go on and on. Talking about things like elections and the truthity of philosophical ideas is the way human beings attempt to solve these things.
And I for one think it's beautiful that our youth are attempting these discourses even within the confines of their life's escape.
Also, atheists never assert that there is any evidence that god does not exist. You don't believe in giant pink spiders because you don't feel enough evidence is present. Just the same, an atheist does not believe in god because they do not feel enough evidence for the existence of a god is present. And when atheists debate, they are not debating the idea that god exists, they are questioning the evidence that the opponent is using to assert that god exists.

Not to mention the fact that 90% of your post that actually applies more to religious people than atheists or agnostics, so it's basically a moot point and makes me feel like you just came here to complain and didn't actually read the post in the slightest.
