Failed "Show no mercy" and now the brotherhood won't talk to me. Any way to fix? Just following the steps

Reverting to a older save is your best bet

So you're not supposed to fail that quest?

No because it gets you on bad terms with the brotherhood, same goes to any other mission :/

Weird.. Because I failed it by just doing the steps... It auto failed after "defend the castle"

Idk perhaps a game glitch? If you revert to an older save, and you complete it, maybe you'll be able to progress further
