Am I new player?
Few days ago my GF gave me a PS4 Destiny Edition as Xmas Gift.. I'm already veteran on Xone and I play just a few hours in PS3 (I don't have any DLC for this one)
My question is if I'm eligible for the referral program on PS4 as new player
Edit: Thanks for the answers, I'll install the game and its updates so I hope tonight I can play with some of you who send me referral request 'cause I know it's hard to find new players

You are eligible for 7 days after you first launch The Taken King DLC. I am a day 1 veteran and I switched from ps4 to Xbox and now back to ps4. I bought the legendary edition and I did the refer a friend with my buddy. It only counts you as a veteran after 7 days of playing TTK:) Just make sure you do it with someone who is a friend because the quest line requires you to at some point do the nightfall.
