I'm sorry you guys didn't get the kill on this one. From watching the video, I can say that your squad seems to be doing the mechanics correctly, however it was indeed glitched out. If I may suggest, the next time you begin to see anything close to this sort of lagging/glitching/studdering, please back out to orbit and have another member with the best connection rejoin solo and then join them to see if that fixes the issue.
Sadly as for your other request, Bungie is unable to actually award individual accounts items, so there is no way for them to give you the rewards. Hopefully next go around will be much more beneficial for you and your squad and I hope the lag is more reasonable.

Hello :) Yeah when we started we gave it to the one player who had the best connection out of all of us. I'm not asking for much, I just want bungie to see this and fix their bugs and such. The team and I will try once again in 2 weeks, this would been icing on the cake since we've run 2 of our other characters before hand. At this point I don't care about the rewards anymore.
