I heard there's no campaign which turned me off especially with a tactical shooter. I never bothered doing any research myself after hearing it. Is it true? Not a big fan of online mp only type games

There is no campaign mode, though there are singleplayer "Situation" missions, but those are there to help you learn the ropes and prepare you for the multiplayer. There's also Terrorist Hunt mode, solo or multiplayer. The game is definitely a multiplayer-centric title.

Hmmm good to know but still there's a lot of praise here in this thread. I'll look into it a little more
