Dark below dlc = £20 or $20
House of wolves dlc = £20 or $20
Consumable pack to get 1 character upto lvl 25 = £25 or $45
So you're saying that getting 1 character straight upto lvl 25 is worth more than an entire dlc?

*$30 Australia isn't the whole world.

I only typed UK and US because I didn't know how much everywhere else is being charged.
-
US is $30. Australia is $45.
-
Yesterday when I first saw the screenshot from friends, it was $44.95 in US

Maybe $10 for the level boost, $45 is w rip off, you can get to 25 in 6 hours
-
Even less if you have red bull xp codes.
-
Not to mention to get Destiny, TTK, TDB, HOW, and a level 25 consumable all you have to do is pay $20 more. So essentially they are saying this pack is worth 2/3rds of the cost of an entire games, 3 expansions, and one of the consumables from the pack.

Im saying it doesnt matter because im not buying it. Im not sure why anyone over the level of 25 is even mad because it doesnt affect you. Smh

It does matter though. Whether you buy or not other people are. When they do buy it tells the company it is ok to makes these things and to charge the ridiculous amounts for it that they do. This leads to them putting prices on more absurd things. As long as it's nothing that has to beat end game content then what does it matter right? I mean, exotics aren't needed to beat end game content really, so what if they slap a price tag to fill out all the exotic blue prints?
-
You're making things up to get mad at...lol
-
Not really. It has happened and continues to happen with games even today. They start out with small things (emotes in this case), move onto something a bit bigger (level up packages in this case), and pretty soon you can pay to just get everything in the game. In Destiny's case they can do this without breaking their promise of "You will never have to buy anything that is required to beat end game content". Exotics, Sparrow, Grimmoire,Emblems,Ships, and Shaders can all be obtained and are not required to beat end game content (as you can do that easily with just legendaries).

This guys got the right idea. If your currently playing Destiny, why do you care if a new player is stupid.

Because you aren't seeing the bigger picture, sure we're all over lvl 25 now (people who recreate characters may pay for the boost) but, what's to say that's as far as it'll go. Destiny 2 is released next year, Bungie say ok, min level for activities will become 55, but we're making that grind a fkn mountain to ascend, however for the sweet price of £25/$45 you can get these consumable packs that'll double your xp and raise your lvl instantly? They're testing the market just now, seeing just how far they can push us into buying these things. Personally I'd rather pay for the dlc outright, sure the emotes, sparrows, masks are cool, but it shouldn't become anything more than aesthetics.

They'll keep going head down till it does affect them then throw a shitfit.
