One of the. Sadly there are countries with less that have a better quality of life currently. That's wrong. Anyone could tell America would be a boom due to the plentiful untouched resources when they colonized. If you also think trickle down works you are even more mistaken. While the middle class has been shrinking the upper classes are taking strides in the gap and even though there is an ever increasing wreath here the poorer got little to no gains in the last decades. Seems fishy eh? Go explain to me why we have growth yet people still bicker about wage increases. People are living off debt just because of the mass increase of unskilled jobs out there. Literally using one credit card to pay another just to get by.Literally most jobs are on recreation or merchandising. Biggest winners in the last decades are the elderly while the youth have less purchasing power then ever before. You can say they are lazy but some just can't afford their own cars and maintenance. That's why more people are moving out later and camping at parents longer Do I have a job? Yes But I know plenty of people much smarter than me that are struggling just because they don't have the job connections I had

It's very easy to get a great paying job without needing to pay for education. The construction industry can never have enough workers. There are apprenticeships that will take anyone showing an interest that are completely free. People just need to stop thinking college is everything and go get a real job.

There were a lot of people that got fired during the recession and they only flooded the schools more just to get that higher placement. Many can't afford to take apprenticeships that's if you have the luxury of getting everything paid for you. I go to school and work pay for my car as well as all my school fees so Im fortunate to have no debt. I don't have time for apprenticeships and we all know many jobs now take interns for plenty of years of free labor and they don't even get the job when there is a opening. Also my dad had his own construction business until he closed it during the recession. He was without a job for a long time until he got a warehouse packaging job. Where was our WPA during the recession like fdrs ? Oh wait republicans wouldn't let Obama do anything at a critical time that's right. Anyways he got lucky an got a old medical job back. I wonder what makes you think there is a need of construction when there were so many foreclosures and banks are holding on to them just to keep the house prices artificially high

Capitalism wasn't the cause of the Great Depression though.
