They love to confuse and frustrate us.
As soon as we get used to how the weapons work, which ones to use for certain situation, spend time, motes and marks on infusing our favorites they throw a monkey wrench in.
Then we have to figure this s**t all over again.

There is no point trying to adapt to new weapons because then soon enough you'll find yourself once again trying to adapt to a different weapon type again. Which makes you think, if you do not like adapting constantly to different weapon types why would you play something that forces you to?
