I think they both are some of the best games on the market(or will be soon) but personally I like no mans sky better because I always loved sandbox discovery. I love exploring, and space has always fascinated me. On the other though ED is more realistic and has more combat. They're both good games though. I wouldn't say one is better than the other

With ED introducing Planetary Landings, NMS wont have that edge for long.

That's a very concise opinion. We have a couple of explorers out right now but they're not gonna see things like animals and strange flora. Instead they'll see black holes and strange phenomena in the galactic core. Both have their appeal but I think people might be confused on the differences.
