Nah, i'd rather blame Bungie for indirectly nurturing people's false sense of entitlement from those less cultured in the industry as a whole.
It's kinda like when an adolecent has a hissy-fit at his parents, so they leave home because they think they're so hard-done by. and the parent's (Bungie) be like "Ok lol bye.". Then the kids realise..."Oh shit, now i need a job, an apartment to rent, food, utilities...i mean i paid board, but this seems more expensive."
If it wasn't for Activision, Neversoft would have been bankrupt by 1998. Being 'run into the ground by Activision.' was only a reflection of Neversoft's prior shortcomings. If Neversoft employees felt Activision was the cause, half of them wouldn't have joined Infinity Ward after the collapse.
Not lack of Publishing and publisher sourced R&D? I'm not pointing my finger at you or trying to jump on any fanboi boat, but people here really need to research the importance of a good AAA publisher and how they positively impact on developments instead of seeing them as lazy-demanding investors.
True and I am not saying Activision is all bad. I saying they have to much say in how games are developed and handled after distribution. Even with all these dlcs people got screwed especially for TTK. Yes they should have a say in how something's are done. But that say should not effect the game but it does.
