MASSIVE CHALICE was the free game on xbone earlier this year. One of my favorites on the console, think xcom: eu, but in a fantasy setting rather than scifi.
Still probably pretty cheap.

Yeah its like 8-10 hours in a playthrough, but with all the strategy options and random elements its good for at least a few runs. I have yet to beat it on the hardest difficulty, you need a lot of luck and almost no tactical or strategic errors to pull that off.
