If they made sparrows better that you can get then people would be complaining. So they take the safer route and what do people do? Complain. Shut the -blam!- up please

No one said anything about making the initial sparrows better. If the sparrows were equivalent to the ones currently available then there would be a reason to collect them: vanity. Since the sparrows aren't even of a new archetype there's no reason to grind for them outside of their looks- they simply have less boost, that's a statistic. The raid sparrows are at least of another archetype compared to the Vanguard and Crucible sparrows, having Overdrive, an additional 10 to durability, and a reduction in overall speed to make up for their trigger activation. These new sparrows offer nothing new, or exciting, for the community that we don't already have, so I don't see a reason in collecting them.

That would be fine, though I feel to balance them they should have it so the perks require experience gain.
