I think it should be focused on in college where you will have more qualified people in the field teaching it.

Exactly. I think they are qualified in many areas to teach but philosophy is a very delicate and advanced field of study. I always think of Plato's Republic Book V I believe where they discuss proper teaching and the power of a good philosophic education versus a bad education.

I think that's the book where it's glaucon and socrates going at it, can't remember. But yeah, philosophy is probably too advanced for high school teaching. I think there are some European countries that do have some sort of philosophy class for secondary eucation

Close enough! Lol. I think those countries have a prudent policy. Philosophy is so easy to corrupt with.
