The Tasmanian Tiger.
A carnivorous mammal found in the island of Tasmania, Australia.
It was hunted to extinction and the last one was killed in....1937, I think.
It was a beautiful creature.
English
-
Thylacine.
-
Yeah that's it proper name, I remember
-
Aw man. I heard that there was a reason for it being hunted. It might have been killing livestock? Idk. Beautiful animal. Such a shame.
-
Yeah it killed livestock
-
I think it was for its striped pelt. I can't remember.
-
Reminds me, did you hear they have started painting rhinos and elephants tusk pink so the ivory is useless. To bad it's come to that.
-
Woah. That's smart, but it's sad.
-
Either way it's still a shame. Are they closely related to tigers?
-
I don't think so. They weren't nearly as big as one. They were unique, I know that much.
