Raid reward system broken? but guaranteed loot comes from challenge.

  • Yes and challenge mode isn't the problem, it is the raid rewards as a whole minus the challenge mode. As the reward system currently is I will never run the raid in its entirety because it's a waste of my time. Come Tuesday I'll pick up a golgoroth CP beat it and log off. That's a problem. Rewards to begin with should have dropped at max light, normal 310, hard 320. Maybe for the first play through on normal would guarantee level 300 items to get players on par for the later fights, same concept for hardmode, than every other playthrough after would be max light armor/ weapons... Not guaranteed but when something did drop players would feel rewarded and like they are making progress. So I won't praise bungie for something they should have had in there game to begin with especially after all the bullshit promises they spewed in the weeks leading up to the taken king release

  • Minus challenge mode? That like saying I went flawless except my 5 deaths be happy we have guaranteed loot now.

  • Hmm not really lol, what I am saying is I am happy with the challenge mode rewards just not the rest of the raid rewards. When I say minus challenge mode I'm saying before challenge mode was even a thing. Challenge mode has nothing to do with this, it's fine, and aside from it the rest of the raid rewards are broken. I don't think cozmo made a thread about it for no reason.

  • Challenge mode rewards are fine, It's the rest of the rewards in every other checkpoint that's not the challenge mode that has garbage drops, so I consider anything before or after the challenge a waste of my time. Challenge mode doesn't fix the entirety of the raid reward system at its core, it's like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound lol.
