I hear you but sparrow racing is one of the oldest requests from the community.
I'm still hoping for some more content with this patch but I won't be holding my breath.
Most of the development team is now working on Destiny 2. I can't see Bungie releasing anything new that has significance.
Maybe they should just make all year one gear able to be infused and bring all year 1 content back into relevance by adding higher difficulty.

Yeah sparrow racing has been requested a lot but it's only viable to them now because they can incorporate it with eververse trading to make money, and I get that, they are a business of coarse. This precious Dev time should have gone to new content that consisted of shooting though, new weapons or whatever. I believe this racing shit should have been an added side mode a long time ago. Making all of year 1 relevant again would be a good move on there part, doing that along with 2 small expansions, adding awesome exotics that can only be obtained through random drops-which keeps players playing- I know it kept me logging in every reset, and maybe a few other small events could probably buy them enough time until destiny 2 ? Maybe lol
