This post is assuming Bungie wants people to play destiny non-stop. They don't. They understand that people want to play other games.
The effective radio-silence by this company while fallout 4 and black ops came out? Intentional. They know people are going to 'Burn out' if they only play this game for 2 years straight.

I think you're right, but it's silly to think that way. I took a couple of months off in the spring, played Bloodborne for a while even though I knew HoW was coming out. Came right back with HoW. Not releasing DLC constantly is one thing, not even announcing whether there will be DLC is quite another. I think they could definitely announce the DLC plan (at least how many until Destiny 2) without any dates and there would be nothing negative with that (even if they announce no more paid DLC, it wouldn't be that bad imo). As it is, at best it seems like they have no communications plan, at worst like they have no idea whether DLC is even coming... Don't get me wrong I love the game, but it seems to me that Bungie has some organizational issues. It seems like they weren't ready as an organization to provide the level of support a game like Destiny needs. They are getting better, but the organization needs to adapt at all levels, including communications (love deej and cozmo, but I think their boss needs a degree in comms, not a dev guy).
