after playing the heck out of the original demo myself (grimoire score of 900!), I found it no longer worked when the first DLC was released. I was resigned to never playing again unless I got the full game. on a whim, I just recently re-downloaded the demo to try again, and found it to be updated as well, probably to be compatible with the new content. but I'm getting the chimpanzee error as well - I have never used the full version of the game, and have only ever played on this one Xbox 360 console, never on an Xbox One. so how come "[my] account is not compatible with this version of Destiny"?
