Sunbreaker Nerf So Stupid
It's just great that Sunbreakers in pve are literally useless now lol thanks hunters

The 'nerfs' dont even do anything negative in pve. Also, if you want a useless pve subclass, look at bladedancer, its kind of depressing.

what are u talking about. that patch notes looked nice, nothing was to severally nerfed nor buffed. 3 sec timer makes u now think about should i rush in there with my super with 4 of them there or should i try to flank them or wait for backup. it's logically. get over it. now ur just bitching to bitch

Didnt really notice a difference in PvE. I use a hunter and titan so no i didnt ask for a nerf on either class but I think it actually did Titans a favor when they nerfed the Sunbreaker class. Extended melee and auto regen of grenades and melee for Defenders during supercast? Juggernaut shield now works in the air so thats a plus. I favor the Striker anyway as opposed to the Sunbreaker. The new whine topic will be a new/old topic once again which is the Fist of Havoc. Increased armor for unstoppable so people will cry about the "Fist of Panic" being OP again.

Should have just put Cauterize on a 2 second delay, and of course buffed the melee range. Bam, instantly balanced. Warlock here, I apologise on behalf of the Warlocks that asked for a nerf. Those guys need to stay in the cage.

Sunspot+ flame keeper = cauterize and damage resistance being awesome still. # hammers for days silly huntards

Blame Hunters all you want, but The Person even gave a very good reason to why it was being fixed. You should actually thank bungie as now Titans have a better melee range and catapult might be a halfway decent jump option

With the melee that makes your targets body a walking crit shot I won't complain. (Melting point I think) it's still good for DPS on bosses.

15 RepliesLol the only people Titans should be blaming are themselves. You guys abused the hell out of a broken feature. Next it'll be shotguns and pulse rifles. Coincidentally I get killed by a shotgunning SB Titan more than anything. You guys just abuse the game and piss people off. Now it's time to be pushed back into the realm of fairness. BTW my opinion is not bias I actually run my Titan in PvP more than my main character which is my hunter.

The sunbreaker "nerf" is so negligable that it's not a game breaker, not a game changer. If people actually run the numbers (god forbid you use math in a video game) the stat changes are so bleak there's virtually any difference. Kay, so there's an explosive radius drop to forgemaster (i think its called), but if you actually have even a remote shred of skill with hams you can still do damage if you HIT YOUR TARGET. Which is in fact, a very tactical method for disposing of one's enemies I heard.
