A company trying to make money? Inconceivable. In the triple A game market you can't expect a developer to be able to keep up with thousands of gripes everyday. In my opinion Bungie has done well to keep up so well. Throughout a franchise you see constant improvement e.g fallout, CoD. The developers refine the game through years of feedback to create great experiences. You can't expect a perfect game from the first installment in a franchise. Give destiny time.

I didn't have time to read the whole thing. I just found a bit that didnt resonate with me and gave my opinion. This is the feedback forum.

  • You didn't have time to read the whole thing, yet you believe you are entitled to give feedback on it because "it's the feedback forum"? This is an exceptionally stupid reply. You do have enough time for arguing with me though, right? Know what, dude? You just couldn't be arsed to read through the whole thing, and even less to understand it. Are you the kind of guy who will give up after three lines of reading because it makes his head hurt?

Firstly chillllllllllllllllll. Secondly your 'essay' above consists of multiple points. I gave feedback on one that I didn't understand the reasoning behind. I get the feeling that you don't take kindly to feedback. That's cool, I didn't mean to be rude posting my opinion and feedback. It was meant to be constructive. If you don't like my opinion, don't use the feedback. However coming at me with your condescension and aggression is just wasting both of our time. I'll read your next reply (if you do reply), hopefully it will be less aggressive. And then I'll stop because a 3 line piece of feedback has turned into an argument.

I don't take kindly to feedback? Stop pulling this on a personal and emotional level. Your feedback is pointless if you just pick out a single paragraph, ignore the context and then create your own version of what I was saying for it. Btw, you admitted you didn't even read all of it, so stop talking like you did now. You complain about my being aggressive? I find your attitude arrogant and disrespectful. Before you reply to a post, make sure you have read and understood it to the best of your capabilities. Otherwise you are just displaying that you are too lazy to really deal with the author and his opinion. Apparently you don't like my opinion. I didn't tell you to bugger off like you are telling me here. Obviously it is you, and not me, who cannot stand being critiziced and the flaws in his approach and argumentation pointed out to him.

  • I read and understood your post I also agree with a lot and disagree with some. But your are being aggressive and like he said he read and understood a point and gave you feed back that was in his opinion of it. I understand that you put a lot of time into this post but I agree that you thought too far into this. A companies main basis of existence is to make money.... With the ethical part taken away for just a moment it is its main objective and finding ways to do exactly that is what makes a good/successful one. With the moral compass you speak of they do listen to the players but some of the aspects are either vastly too difficult to implement ie: replacing or repairing the rng system which is the general out cry at the moment. To do this would take an enormous overhaul and cost the company massive amounts of money and man power and lose focus on so many other facets of the game. You can't say that a company is being unethical in trying to find ways of keeping their players even if they are using psychological strategies to keep people on "the hamster wheel" The carrot on the stick you mentioned can be perceived as just that but it's also a great way to implement an incentive while you are trying to fix these things that are "broken". Stop thinking too much and have some fun with your friends. The last time I did a raid we were in tears laughing. That's why I play.
