Consume one at a time. Stacking them like that doesn't do anything, it's just a waste

He's right. Bungie explained this in tweets I believe. There is now a time limit on usage of 3oC and burning them back-to-back like that doesn't increase your odds.

They really said this man. They said the way they stack is you use one then if you don't get an exotic the next coin you use has a higher chance. That's how they stack it doesn't matter if you believe or not keep wasting coins these people were giving you advice to not waste coins. I'm pretty sure it was on Twitter and some patch notes from awhile ago when they nerfed three of coin.

I could tell you of a time when OP posted this topic as a question about the intro to his epic strike run which actually lead up to a 310 hereafter exotic drop... regardless of dropping 5 3oC beforehand, and that allegedly bring "the wrong thing to do"... I could tell you that this post detailed the amount of 3oCs' consumed for mere descriptive story telling purposes, and that OP would only like concrete evidence that the 3oC usage was 'wrong'... I could tell you a story about how questioning general consensus has lead to some of the most prevalent discoveries of our once mighty 'golden age' (i.e: our world is not flat... yessss)... My old live account name on the Xbox 360 was xDkMxwatchamof I gave it to my younger brother who I no longer live with, and he may or may not play on it. (if the gold membership is still active that is). I had a lvl 28 Hunter bladedancer that was my main and a void walker warlock that I crucible with. Bought the first expansion and stopped playing before HoW because I didn't want to pay to play anymore. Only reason I started back up was because I bought an Xbox one in August and recieved ttk as a birthday present in October. Check my sources sir. I don't need to lie, and I don't think you will own up to your missinformation... but at least I provided you with source materials you asked for.

What I meant initially was missinformation* as in missleading information, or information that has not been proven to be fact. The only reason I have been asking for sources is because of the in-game description of 3oC, and the amount of troll food that was shoved down the thread via, 'proper 3oC advice.' I think you can feel my pain when I say it was only a kneejerk reaction to the overwhelming negative responses and troll post that had nothing to do with my OP.

Do me a favor and do your own research/ reading... as in reading the original post to this thread. At no point did I ask anyone how to 'properly' use 3oC. My response to asking for proof came from the overwhelming response of, "It's general knowledge/ consensus that 3oC does not stack." Where as the 3oC description actually reads, "stackable effect." Yes I read the updates, no I did not realize how the stack actually worked. I digress though. OP mentioning consumption of 3oC was nothing more than a descriptive detail. Get over it, and don't be upset when your negative response to a frivolous detail (and not even the original question posted) triggers an immediate troll response from someone who had an actual question about the game mechanic. *Inserts 'I came to this forum meme'*
