I play as a rogue assassin on nightmare difficulty. At first it's a challange, but once you learn the moves and level up its a joke. Amazing game, but I'm not even halfway through the story and I've completed nearly all side quests, closed all rifts in available areas and I've killed all dragons. It's extremely fun and addicting, but got easy for me lol.
If you want an easy class go with a mage and become knight enchanter when you can. There's a moveset that allows you to spam the same move over and over, get shield back constantly and you never have to worry about losing hp.
I have yet to try a melee build, but those are two fun choices IMO.

Thank you, I will take all that on board. =}

If u play as KE u might as well leave your party behind u can solo everything by yourself

My roommate played a dagger rogue, it seemed pretty OP, especially with the assassin prestige. I played a mage and it seemed a little more balanced. Its also worth mentioning that the npc dagger rogues, when left unattended, get stomped the -blam!- out lol.

Oh I played archer rogue lol. I never had a dagger rogue in my party, but I've seen them in action. They're probably better than my archer build in speed, but I've seen my character do more dps when flanking correctly. Should mention all my companions and myself have silverstone masterworks so we all get shields every time we do a point of damage lol. We can't actually get hit by anything.
