They only need to remove the soft lock, really. The other minor things like stopping drift should stay.

Ok, In a game with people teleporting, and flying through the air and moving around nonstop, aim assist is practically essential. Try to hit somebody as they're blinking up and down with nothing but your own fingers. It won't work. Seriously, the whole AA debate is stupid.

Aim assist is the whole reason Destiny's gunplay feels so smooth.

Lol if you suck with aim assist present, I can't even imagine what you'll be when it's off.

Aiming is much more comfortable without assistance. I play with it off in games that let me, and I do fine.

Because those games have snap control and no instant teleport
