Picture a truck running a red light, smashing into your side or the car with enough force that it pushes two FEET into your vehicle. You're tossed about like a rag doll since your seat snaps off. In the end you get: 127 stitches 60 staples One large application of surgical glue One broken pelvis One nerve dead leg Two plates A dozen steel screws Four pins Your hair starts out as brownish/black. It's now roughly a 50/50 mixture of that and white, because of scar tissue. It took three days along to dig the shards of safety glass out of my face. So, no. I'm not.

  • That's cute. Yeah-it was a feature on the "crippled for life" channel. There was also a bit about it featured on the Learning To Walk Again channel, with a special interview on the Can't Pick Up Your Infant Son network.
