Hold on , i have a friend of mine that is gonna buy ttk tomorrow , personally i don't have ttk on the account im playing with but in another account where i buy the stuff .
So if he gets ttk tomorrow is it gonna work for us 2 or im not gonna be eligible because i don't have the license on this account ??

Both Veteran and Referee must own the license to The Taken King on the account they play The Taken King on. Https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13962

@xXErinaXx Actually it doesn't matter if the veteran has the game or not the game in his account , i don't have the game in this account and i managed to get the quest , you can inspect me if you want

Then you and maybe others are an exception to the rule. But it is in the FAQ which is where I am quoting from and will continue to as that is from Bungie themselves.
