Crucible Radio is a joke
I was just scrolling through the page something that caught my eye.
Guess the person's name is bird.
Says: don't blame the lag or the guy with the red bar just think to yourself i need to gg.
Its not the player's fault they get put in with bs lag and bs deaths. So these "guys" need to gg.
So remember people you get a lag death its not the others plays fault its yours!

The quote "Don't blame the player, blame yourself," is valid outside of lag and bad spawns (which is explicitly emphasized in their podcasts), and is used in the context: "you're not playing bad because the enemy is better, you're playing bad because you're not using your head."

They further say that in extenuating circumstances such as lag, rather than get mad at the other player or yourself, just think about how to avoid dealing with lagswitch McGee. In my cases, I see a lagger, and if they won't die from long range, I just dip back into my team. Now in a 3v3 playlist, this may not be possible but it's still best not to get mad. Getting on tilt can negatively affect gameplay and and up with an L instead of a W. To put it in simple terms; a laggy player killing you is technically their fault, but instead of placing guilt reform your strategy.

Maybe you are playing pn the other players second console and it always lags and he kills you with his other console then it is his fault

1 ReplyI think you do not understand the over all message. Some things are outside of your control. So, what can you do to improve your circumstances? 1. Disengage. 2. Report the player for bad connect. 3. Improve other aspects of your game play to minimize red bar impact.

If you are constantly blaming lag or other overpowered supers you are limiting your own skill and strategy development. Dont worry about other players and lag, it will not advance your own fps skill. I think this is the gist Bird is trying to make. Use your head!
