Great idea. But with Bungies hatred of all primaries with burns, it wouldn't work.

They could just remove the elemental damage and replace it with kinetic damage.

And then we would have no reason to try and get them. What is the difference between Imago Loop and the Fatebringer? Arc damage. Tread Upon Stars and VoC? Solar damage. We can get the same guns with different or even better perks but without burns from just doing strikes. #TitanMasterRace

That may be true, but there are not strike exclusive equivalents for every raid weapon. Also, it can take a lot of grinding to get those strike exclusives and even when you get them you can get horrible perks on them. It also can take a lot of grinding for raid weapons to drop but at least when you do you get the same perks everytime.

Edited by Alovon11: 1/16/2016 9:36:59 PMI think to make elemental primaries work in destiny is make them a reward for doing challenge modes, for raids at least. And make the Challenges hard to compensate. Like for the Oracles, you cannot go into the purifying pool to complete the challenge, but more coracles spawn and the disappear quicker

And by quicker i mean quicker, like 1.5-1.75 times quicker
