Couldn't care less. I'd have been perfectly happy if they hadn't released them to year 2 at all. So releasing them, just a bit later, has absolutely no impact on the enjoyment I get from the game. Used all of those guns and gear year 1. Maybe I'll use them again in year 2, maybe not. I will however, still be shooting aliens in the face. A lot. Ps, I'm also sure that by not having them in the loot table I got the new exotics faster, as the rolls were all on the new exotic table, so that's at least one positive of the time gating.
